​About the Retreat

When we practice body awareness and build a healthy relationship with ourselves, it extends out into our other relationships, job, lifestyle, and how we engage with the world. ​By exploring a variety of wellness modalities, we can see how the body and mind respond to different approaches for self-care, healing, and expression. This is useful in noticing what our experience is when we take time to be with our body, mind, and emotions. Oftentimes, we have patterns or reactions that block us from experiencing the present moment with ease, as an observer, and with compassion. This retreat will be an opportunity to identify these common patterns and ways to create space for connection. Modalities offered will be: gentle/moderate Hatha yoga, restorative yoga, laughter + partner yoga, meditation, QiGong, TRE, InnerDance, and JourneyDance.

 Thai Baht per person, for 4 nights ensuite fan single room (retreat fee details). (Approximately USD $303)
​Because New Life Foundation is a non-profit organization, this is one of the most affordable yoga retreats you'll find. In accordance with the Buddhist tradition of Dana (the cultivation and practice of the virtue of generosity), the retreat participant is invited to make a separate donation to Hanuman Yoga Retreat based on their individual income and the value that they place on what has been offered. The livelihood of the teacher is dependent on the generosity of Dana. There will be more details provided on this during the retreat.

MEALS
New Life Foundation is a vegetarian community. Simple, healthy meals will be served, consisting of breakfast with fruit, eggs, cereal, bread, and yogurt, and Thai-style meals for lunch and dinner. We cannot cater to special diets but do let us know if have any food allergies.
ACCOMMODATIONS
All rooms come with ensuite bathroom, hot water shower, ceiling fan, sheets, and towels. Rooms with Air Conditioning are subject to availability for a daily surcharge. The number of places available is limited so please register quickly.

TRAVEL INFORMATION
Location: New Life Foundation
No. 49 Moo 1, Ban Samanmit, Don Sila, Wiang Chai, Chiang Rai, Thailand

The retreat fee does not include transportation to and from the retreat location. There are a number of low-cost carriers within Thailand and the Asia region if you would like to fly to Chiang Rai. Buses are also a good option. Taxis and tuk-tuks that will take you straight to the foundation can be hired at the airport or bus station.

  • We provide meditation cushions and yoga mats but please feel free to bring your own if you wish.
